55% Vegan Coconut Milk with Hawaiian ʻAwa

We use cacao grown from our own Ua Hānai Orchards, just outside Hilo town along the Hamakua Coast, where the volcanic soils paired with our special fermenting and aging processes (like with wine) produce a rich, fruit forward flavor palate. 

This bar features our 55% Vegan Coconut Milk. The higher percentage gives you a richer cacao flavor with less sugar, and instead of dairy milk it is made with coconut milk for a purely vegan chocolate!

We then add Hawaiian ʻawa, also known around the world as “kava,” sourced from the island of Molokai. ʻAwa root is a natural muscle relaxer that has been used in Polynesian cultures for many medicinal, ceremonial, and practical purposes.
In modern day, it's more commonly used by those who believe it helps their anxiety, insomnia, body aches, and general relaxation. You may experience drowsiness and/or a numbing sensation on your tongue and inner mouth.

We are a no spray farm, and utilize organic ingredients and farming methods to offer you real, simple foods.
